Reuters, he covers investing/investor protection, financial planning, taxes, insurance, retirement, college and life planning. He has won 18 awards for his columns and investigative reporting, including the National Press Club award for Consumer Journalism.

The YWCA Lake County is sponsoring Read for Joy, a series of three (3) school readiness sessions for parents and children ages 0 to 3 the third Thursday of April, May and June from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The sessions will provide the framework to guide parents in nurturing school readiness and child development. These will be fun, interactive sessions so bring your children with you.

The Community Action Partnership of Lake County (CAP) is sponsoring Why I Walk 2016 3Kwalk on June 4, 2016 at 8:30 am checkin and registration begins. The Walk begins at 9:30 am.
Advanced registration is $15, registration at the door is $20. Walk registration may be done online or at the CAP offices.

The Lake County Clerk is currently recruiting election workers for 2016 and are encouraging bilingual judges to apply. Election judges must be registered voters. The Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court's office has passport applications and information on obtaining or renewing a passport. Passport applications are processed at the Clerk of the Cicuit Court's office Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

The Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court is responsible for maintaining a record of all traffic, civil, criminal and juvenile cases filed and heard in Lake County. These records are now available online to the general public. The Circuit Clerk's office collects and disburses traffic and criminal fines, civil fees, child support and processes passport applications.
