The Family Self-Sufficiency Program provides supportive, long-term case management services to single parents throughout Lake County as they work towards achieving economic self-sufficiency. The participants engage in a life resource, educational meeting one Saturday per month as well as receive quarterly case management. During these quarterly meetings, they work on budgeting skills, goals and receive supportive counseling. We also have an employment specialist to provide many employment services. To qualify, a participant must be a single parent, have some stable housing and live in Lake County.
